I'm Draigwen.  I live in Caerphilly.  I'm learning Welsh.  In my blog I am trying to practice my Welsh.

 

Don't expect everything to make sense or be correct.  After 60 units of Cardiff University's Cwrs Wlpan, spread over more than two years rather than just the one, I feel I know enough to write a blog, but I'm still very scared to hold a conversation in Welsh.  My vocabulary is very bad although my understanding of how the grammar works is fairly good.  My posts are mainly written with the help of my course notes and the BBC's LearnWelsh dictionary so I'm probably using the wrong words much of the time.  Feel free to correct me in comments – but be kind!

 

As well as the Welsh entries I'm also thinking of writing about Wales, music and technical things that I'm interested in, but I will mostly be concentrating on Welsh entries.  I may also do posts that are simple grammar or vocab reminders so that I can keep my Welsh learning "under one roof".
